Thanks Larry,

It sounds like the symptoms are similar. I have been on vacation for the
past couple of weeks and two of my clients reported that they had seen this
error message while I was gone.

It appears to me that RBase may be losing track of a temp file under certain
conditions.

I wish that I could recreate the error but I have not been successful.

For the past several months my clients have been reporting that that they
occasionally receive the following error message.

ERROR- C:\Documents~1\Rich\temp\48BFEBDD.$$$ not found

The error usually occurs when printing a report to the screen.

I have not been able to duplicate the error but I personally have seen the
error at one of my clients.

Has anyone else seen this error? Does anyone know what may cause it?

I have seen this error at a couple of clients running 7.6 -- at least one
client is running the compiled version. I haven't been able to reproduce it
reliably, but I have a lot of reports from users. Exiting the application
and restarting seems to fix the problem.

In addition, I have a robot process that runs 24 hours a day and generates
reports. I don't see error messages from this application, but after some
random amount of time, it would start producing report output files (PDFs)
with no pages -- similar to the blank reports that are displayed on the
screen when this error message occurs. In the case of the robot process I
found that frequently disconnecting and reconnecting the database (each time
the robot wakes up to process requests) solved the problem.

Otherwise, I have no solution.
