Razzak,

I promise I will no longer use 7.5.

You shouldn't.

FWIW, the day you "stepped-up" to upgrade your existing R:BASE
license(s) from 7.5 to 7.6, the actual use and number of R:BASE
7.6 upgrade license(s), based on previously purchased R:BASE
7.5 license(s), supercedes the use of previously used R:BASE
license(s). Thus, you should no longer be using 7.5 anyway.

To further clarify, when upgrading R:BASE and only paying for
"step-up"/"upgrade" license(s), the previous use of the product
and number of license(s) is forfeited and the use of upgraded
version and license(s) is in effect.

The same rule applies to all core products as well as any
add-on options, tools, and Plugins.

Wait! I just remembered I have 7.5 installed on an old laptop
with a 3.5 floppy and a parallel port. Maybe I can use it to
figure out my dot-matrix printing issue.

Without knowing all specific details, did you know that you can
use R:BASE 7.6 for DOS to handle your current dot-matrix issues,
and still use the entire application with R:BASE 7.6 for Windows?

Current released versions of R:BASE 7.6 for Windows and R:BASE
7.6 for DOS are fully compatible in a situation like yours.
Using this unique multi-platform capability of R:BASE you can
still keep the business going with DOS routines until you find
a swift solution or alternative method to achieve your goals.

I had my fingers crossed when I promised ;}

I can see you from here. <g>

Good luck and we are looking forward to seeing your fantastic
presentations at the 10th Anniversary Developers' Conference.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
