I'm sorry, I should have clarified: It will move with a click, it just 
doesn't follow the background code. Maybe some sort of calendar refresh 
would work?

What's it stuck on? Today's date? Check to see the you don't have it 
attached to #DATE.
Did you select the Variable Calendar or accidently select the DB 
calendar (I've done it)?

    I am having trouble getting the blue selection highlight to follow
    the
    variable attached to my calendar. If I define the calendar variable
    using code in another part of my form, the variable itself
    changes, but
    the blue selection highlight on the calendar won't budge. What
    gives, guys?
