John I am afraid I cant answer your question. But I can tell you how I do. When it comes to R:Base to Excel I use only 2 methods. Browse (normally a view) and export to xls or From excel I do an ODBC read from my R:Base Database to my predefined excel report. When it comes to print I never figured it out how to get it into excel the way I wanted. However I think PDF reports works great and that is the preferred format anyway.
