Jan, In a multi-user network environment, a bad NIC, poor network wiring, cheap routers/switches and electric surge are the primary cause of data corruption, including SYS_ table(s). You wouldn't see such behavior in a stand-alone environment, when a database is connected on a local machine. You may also need to make sure that all users connected to the same database are in sync as far as the R:BASE version and build is concerned. This is one of the biggest challenge for network administrators and our lovely R:Developers. Hope that gives you some blues clues ... Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
