I downloaded the V8 update for my desktop PC.
I didn't download the update for V8 for my laptop.
I have used the RRBYW10 from 7.5 then converted to V8.
It works fine on my laptop without the update.
4 forms will not open,
Error messages could not load form.
Any suggestions.

Here's what you need to do when converting 7.5 RRBYW10
to Turbo V-8 for Windows.
01. Start R:BASE 7.5 for Windows and CONNect to RRBYW10.
02. At the R> prompt:
SET NULL -0-
OUTPUT RRBYW10.ALL
UNLOAD ALL
OUTPUT SCREEN
This step will create the following two files:
. RRBYW10.ALL
. RRBYW10.LOB
03. EXIT R:BASE 7.5 for Windows
04. Start R:BASE Turbo V-8 (Build:8.0.18.30919) or higher
05. Switch the default folder to where both RRBYW10.ALL
and RRBYW10.LOB files were created. (step 02)
06. Delete previously converted RRBYW10 database, if any.
DISCONNECT
DELETE RRBYW10.RX?
07. At the R> prompt:
RUN RRBYW10.ALL
This will create a fresh Turbo V-8 RRBYW10 database
with fully converted tables, views, forms, reports,
labels, etc.
That's all there is to it!
