I'm working with Excel 2007 and saved the .XLSX file as a comma delimited CSV so I can import it in R:Base 8.
I created a database with a dummy table and selected GATEWAY. I designated I wanted a new table, named it, selected the import format, changed the field1/field2/field3 etc. to the right field names and data types etc. Then I clicked on the 'ok' button and nothing happens. I can keep clicking. It's a 900,000+ file, but there is no indication that anything is happening.
