If the changes needed are as "simple" as stated then it would be nice if
RBTI could add a feature that could do the conversion for those items that
have enhanced controls as well as standard ones.
You might even go further and then think why keep the standard ones if the
converted replacements can be set to default to no "visible" change and so
not affect current applications.
Is this something that has been asked for and not been possible to do?

there was something in the editable version of the control that you could
change. I'm going to backup my form and try it.
The backup is to do alot of copy and pasting, as you say... I do this
often
with other things, but never tried it with a tab control. Don't know if

have to copy each page separate, etc...

I'm pretty sure the Sys_Forms3 edit will do what I said, but if you want
to start anew, just create the enhanced Tab Control and add the same
number of pages as your subject, then copy and paste the "contained"
objects from subject to target, then move your Event code also (onbefore,
onfter, onclose, CustomFormAction, onDesign)
One way is to just open two instances of RBase and have two form
designers
open
at the same time, one with your subject and the other with the target
enhances
tab control and do a lot of cutting and pasting.
I have done the next, and it worked, so:
First, make a copy of your form before you do anything else.
Save the form in an uncompressed format.
create another form with the enhanced tab control and save it also in an
uncompressed format. Select the enhanced Tab Control and Ctr-C (copy)
it to
the clipboard.
Open Notpad and Ctrl-V (paste it)
The description will look like this:

if you copy and paste the regular tab control (a virgin one without any

added controls) it will look like this:

Notice there are only 3 lines different.
The first line that tells exactly what the object class is, the
Component ID
(which isn't important at this point) and the addition of the last line
FixedDimension = 0.
So open Sys_Forms3 and navigate to the form to convert and change the
first
line and add the FixedDimension=0 in the position relative to the way it
is
shown above, save and exit the sys_forms3 and open the form in the
designer.
It should now have an enhanced form. (fingers crossed)
