Wow, thought I'd see all the typical user behavior.   I've never heard of
anyone doing this!   Pretty funny!

Never tried it, but how about putting up an MDI form with an alias, passing
in a variable with the message to display.  Disable the close and have no
other buttons on it.  The program continues even with the MDI form on the
screen, and at the end you send the command to close the open MDI form ....

I use the pause box to tell the user when the program is processing data.
The user sometimes gets confused and clicks on the X(close) on the upper
right and thinks that the program is hung. 

Is there a way to remove the X from the pause dialog boxes??
