Mike I am surprised!
SET ANSI OFF Cleared my cases when some programmer for a ACCESS db named fields like: DATE, NOTE .. Do you have an opportunity test it is version 5 (maybee6) of 7,6 But as always if it is an RBTI problem it will solved. So keep us posted Gunnar Ekblad Kontema IT AB Hästholmsvägen 32 131 30 Nacka Sweden -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] För Ramsour Mike Skickat: den 27 januari 2009 17:08 Till: RBASE-L Mailing List Ämne: [RBASE-L] - SV: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'file' Gunnar and Rachel: Thank you for your responses. I had tried the view route using an alias but that didn't work. The ANSI thing sounded promising but alas it did not make any difference either. In a late breaking development I have confirmed that it is something specific to the newer versions of Turbo V-8. I had an old Sep-2008 vintage version of Turbo V-8 available so I installed it on my development machine. My import programs ran without a problem with the older version. So apparently something has changed starting with the R:Cornucopia version circa 11/26/2008. I hope that RBTI may be able to shed some light on this and provide a solution.
