I'm sure this easy, but it's Friday, I'm burned out and I've been
chasing the answer to this for 30 minutes. I'm using the 12/29/08
build of V8 Turbo and I have a DB edit field, the data field is
time. I'd like to format the field to show Hours, Minutes & AM/PM
(i.e. 9:00 AM, 3:30 PM) and the times are stored in 24 hour format,
9:00, 15:30. I can't find what I need to put in the Format Mask.

Paul,

Use the newly introduced enhancement for "Table Display Format"
to achieve your goal. Follow the steps below with illustrations.

Here's how:

01. Bring up the exact form in Form Designer.

For example, Customers form in RRBYW15

02. While in Form Designer:
Main Menu | Tables | Display Format...
    Figure 02:

03. Select the appropriate column and notice the supported options
under Display Format Mask (on right).

04. Highlight the first option with sample data as: 1:30 PM

05. Click on [OK] button to save the display format for that
    particular field.

That's all there is to it.

This is the R:BASE you have always wanted!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
