If I hit escape, the process terminates as expected. Variable vendkey is set to [Esc] and the code goes to the label done. No form comes up. I am able to go to other functions and I am not locked up but the daywork form never came up. Once again, what am I missing? I look at the examples in RRBYW14 and read the help information but putting all the syntaxes together properly sometimes gets me into trouble. I will have to get used to the DIALOG command. So, yes, do look for the escape key. You should also check that your result is a valid date before proceeding. Also, in Windows, try using the DIALOG command instead of FILLIN. With DIALOG, you can specify the POPUP option and make the popup a GUI calendar. Yet another option is the (GETDATE()) function.
