To All, I wish to thank Bill Downall for his work on putting together the R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 training held in Indy this past weekend. His efforts allowed this program to come off without a hitch, including the important aspect of delivery to Razzak his morning Starbucks.
There have been many comments over the weekend about the ins and outs of v9. I wish to echo all of them. It's hard to say what may be the coolest new feature but two come to mind. 1. The inclusion of all the add-on tools in one product. No more having a dozen RBL's floating around. 2. The ability to add header and footer bands to a DB-Grid. This looks like a really useful feature (think QuickBooks report). Those in attendence that were concerned about Carolyn and my traveling safety, rest assured that we returned in one piece yesterday (Sunday) after at PDX at 4PM PDT. Not quite as fast as getting to IND but a reasonable day. Finally to Razzak and RBTI, THANK YOU for spending the last 2 year and 2 months developing this fine addition to the developers arsenal. I realize that it is officially beta but it works pretty darn good. It only took just under 7 minutes to convert our 1.5GB database to V9. Jan
