Larry & Jan,

I changed the property of the Var Image to stretch and added the recalc
var to the EEP and it worked.

Since the image field is very small due to space on the form, can I
expand it like I would a report to fill my screen?

Jim

Jim,

In order to redisplay a variable lookup you need to

RECALC VARIABLES

        Larry,

Here is how I have it set up.

On Before Start I have an EEP: SET VAR vPartimage VARBIT = NULL

The PARTNUM field has a ComponentID of Partnum_ID

In the PARTNUM field, I have an ON EXIT EEP:

        GETPROPERTY Partnum_ID TEXTVALUE vPartnumID

SET VAR vPartimage = Imagedata IN Partimage WHERE Partnum =
.vPartnumID

        RETURN

My variable Image is VPartimage with a ComponentID of
Imagedata_ID and I have a right click EEP of

        GETPROPERTY Imagedata_ID STRETCH vPartimage

        Still no luck.

        Jim

        <<

        GETPROPERTY Partnum_ID TEXTVALUE vPartnumID

SET VAR vPartimage = Imagedata IN Partimage WHERE Partnum =
.vPartnumID

The question is: What is the next step?

        >>

In that case use the Variable Image control, and set the
variable associated with the control to vPartImage.
