Paul,

Without knowing your whole problem - have you tried a simple RELOAD on a COPY of the database?

In my experience this sort of problem often/usually gets corrected just by a simple reload but - as always with db errors - make sure that you copy the 4 db files and use those to work on. Then, if there's further problems, you always have the "original" problem to go back to.

Regards,
Alastair.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Life in RScope

Ok, life is .. Here goes it:

RScope 7.6 and the results are:

ERROR
Changes made to a NOTE column in table history have caused this row to be
relocated lower in the table. The location of the new row is 0
and it should be within the range of 35086337 to 35904953.

ERROR
The pointer to the previous row of data in table history is set to 0.
It should be within the range of 0 to 34996009.

ERROR
The last address read for table history was 35086337.
The structure file expects the end of table to be at 35904953.

ERROR
The number of rows counted for table history was 11104.
The structure file expects to count 11707 rows.

So do you first do Line #1 (assume Top Error Message and that make Line 1-4) and work your way down to Line #4. I have yet to have a table this much of
a pain.

So far I tried several attempts at this and all I get is more errors it
seems. Is it possible that when you fix one you create two?

And having a bit of trouble when I paste the row in to jump to it seems to
fix it? But there is no way to save the table. The 'Save' is still grayed
out.

And last but least 'unload' nope not a good choice, there is data in there
I need (two months worth!) and you know everybody piped up in the office
when it was gone. Ya right! So do I ..........? Punt! Kick off sides!
Or Slide into 4th! (trying to stay away from hockey) Yep, I am from
Michigan and you know who is in PA!

Sincerely,
Paul
