On two Vista 64 workstations running 7.6, some routine things that are done in the Database Explorer are causing a Windows default beep (windows ding.wav) to sound. For example, if I click on Tables to open up that section, no ding. But if I then select a table in the list, I get a ding. I'm not getting any warning or error dialogs, and everything works as it should.
The ding problem does not occur on my Windows XP workstations. While not the most pressing problem, it is a little annoying. Do other Vista systems behave this way, and is there a setting somewhere to turn the default beep off in RB (other than disabling it entirely in Control Panel?) Thanks. Tom Hawley
