I love my netbook. I use it for 40% of my RBase work and give a rest to my
full notebook. I network it and have the CD drive on a regular workstation
shared if needed.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Rbase on Netbooks

I've just started to use Rbase on a HP netbook. It seems to work ok. I
installed Rbase from downloaded files and not a copy of a CD.

I did install a virus protection program from McAfee by copying it to a
USB drive and it worked fine.

Good luck.

Is anyone using Rbase on a netbook? In particular I’m looking at an
HP. If yes, do you have to buy a USB external CD drive to load the
software or is it possible to copy the cd to a flashdrive to load?
