The 7 is the Error message number. You can use this number in case of programming. In case of error number 7 then you can program an action. For instance showing a message the database is not available in current directory. In general there are 2 possible causes of this message: 1. The database is not available in the directory in which you try to open the database. 2. The database is out of sync (the 4 files of the database need to have the same datetime stamp. You can check it to have a look in the directory where the database is located. What to do about it: 1. Startup R:base by clicking on one of the files of the database. At least you are sure you are in the right directory. 2. If the files are out of sync. One of the solutions is: find yourself a backup of the current database and try to open this one. Please be aware you will lose all the changes in the database since the last backup if you replace this backup version with the newer version!
