Thanks for the response. I thought that was the case. Since this view is used in multiple reports and used quite often, I will stay with the permanent view. If the view is used on multiple reports/forms or used from dbexplorer then I create a permanent view. I have never noticed a speed difference in a temporary view vs.. a permanent view.
