I just applied the newest update this morning to all machines. I have no
idea why the reports are doing this.

Did you apply the newest update??

If so, maybe something is going on with the newest update.

Dan,

The strange thing is the report actually does what it is supposed to do.
It prints the report and all the sum of functions work. Even changing
the variables as you mentioned still gives me the error col or var sum
not found. This was not the case just a few days ago.

I am still using the sum of variable in my reports too.

Just make sure you do not use the . in front of the variable

sum of variablename

not

sum of .variablename

I have many reports that still use the Sum of function. I know Rbase
has the DB Calc feature but on these reports I need to use variables.

Just today, reports that have been running fine are now coming up with
the error on all the sum of variable The col or var SUM is not found.

As I said, this just started. I did database maintenance and that did
not help.

I have the latest 7.6 version.
