Bill, Have you tried connecting in single user mode to clear any false locks?
If that doesn't do it, I suspect you need to do an unload/load to make the db happy again. For example, I can be editing a form, and when I go to save it, I get the Internal Lock Error message. Usually, the form appears to have saved correctly.
