HTAs accept command line arguments.

You have to deal with the argument passed in either VBScript or JScript within the HTA itself.

If you are encrypting the HTA via RBase, then how can the HTA know anything about RBases encrypting scheme?

Q. Is this file the result of HTML output that is renamed to an HTA
extension
so it will display as a quick and dirty report?

A. Very close.

This is a combination of variable that is passed and used with one row in a
table (varchar+ .var) and used to produce this html/hta type text. The
output is .hta That part works when tested. So I got this brilliant idea, 'what if I encrypted this message that flash's to the user A/P, A/R status'
then delete it from prying eyes. Now my problem. Passing that password
parameter to hta. Perhaps beyond what drives the hta?
