Hi Everyone,
In 1989 I wrote an application to manage the State of Maine's property and
liability insurance programs using Rbase version 2.11. It has served us well
and enabled our little office of 5 people to sucessfully manage a relativley
large insurance program. We have also become the "go to" people for certain
kinds of data because Rbase has been and continues to be very powerful while
at the same time relatively easy to use.
Today, after over twenty years of continuous use, I have finalized the
migration of our 2.11 data and application to Rbase 7.6 and closed down the
original 2.11 application. Twenty years with no major crashes, losses of
data, corruptions or other problems with tens of thousands of lines of data.
Kudos to the creators of Rbase 2.11.
More importantly, a big THANK YOU you to Razzak and everyone at Rbase for
version 7.6; what a great product ! The migration from 2.11 was difficult
but the features and capabilities of 7.6 made it well worth the effort.
Go Rbase !!
