Paul, Happy Friday to you too!
The extra file available for on the R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 updates site is the R:Docs 9.0 installer. Please see Razzak's post yesterday at 5:59 PM announcing this release, and how it is available to all R:BASE eXtreme 9.0 users for FREE. When the R:Compiler update in released on July 7th, you will need to recompile your executable in order take advantage of the new updates. If you are storing the forms and reports within your compiled executable, you are only required to "update your resources" if your have changed any of the forms and reports. Oh my- I noticed something extra in that update also (extra exe that one could also choose), am I allowed to download it? is it allowed for me to install? or a mistake (don't install)? Also because I have RCompiler for 9.0 Is it safe to assume that most of what I think are form/report/ fine details updates (0707)..... that the compiled version will still work just using update form (0707 forms)? if I avoid compiling the exe with forms included (makes a difference or no difference)? I know it sounds confusing, I am trying to make it sound right. Paul -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of A. No. Once you have successfully downloaded and saved the appropriate file on your desktop, double click on the .exe and follow the instructions. Select "Typical Update" to apply the latest update. Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
