After updating to latest V9_32 versions today, I added a database and
tried several ways to get Gateway to import an Excel spreadsheet, then a
text file. It would not show me any columns in the spreadsheet or text
delimited files (even asked something about specifications), so I copied
the instructions from the Help file to the R> prompt, and the data from
the text file imported into the table created earlier. The data
explorer clearly shows 171 rows, but nothing is visible, so I tried
inserting a row (partial). That could be read. What is happening, and
why can't I read the data that was imported?
Previously, the Gateway worked, however clumsily, and I need it to work
always, so I can include new member information from my client.
