I had the same auto renew problem with McAfee a few years ago. For the past three years I've been very happy with Kaspersky Internet suite. My son suggested it when his company replaced Norton with it. It seems to catch everything without the system drag or annoying interruptions and warnings every time you try to do anything. My son said when they converted that Kaspersky caught things Norton had missed.
