You need to correct the database structure. R:Scope will help you with that.

I would check that last address and find the table from / using rscope and see exactly what it is. Then go to the db and find that row or .... and see if you see it. I doubt it will be there.

I would rrust RScope if all ver are up to date with tour ver of RBase. Jm.02

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Database file 2
To: <[email protected]>

Good afternoon:

R:SCOPE 8.0 has been reporting a mis-match between the actual size and expected size of the RX2 file of my primary database. There do not seem to be any issues because of this but it's sure unsettling. AUTOCHK does not report any errors.

Version info: R:BASE v8.0 for Windows (32-bit), U.S. Version, Build: 8.0.23.30809
running on Windows XP Pro w/SP3

 Directory of D:\rbase\data\

09/26/2010 12:41 PM 1,126,286 MAINDATA.RX1
09/26/2010 12:41 PM 4,476,010,496 MAINDATA.RX2
09/26/2010 12:41 PM 1,757,528,064 MAINDATA.RX3
09/26/2010 12:41 PM 1,921,024 MAINDATA.RX4
           4 File(s) 6,236,585,870 bytes
           0 Dir(s) 72,488,689,664 bytes free

Checking the Data file length ...
ERROR
The actual size of the Data file (File 2) is 4476010496 bytes.
The database structure expects it to be between 181010433 and 181043200 bytes.

I ran a full chkdsk on the hard drive and no errors were reported. R:SCOPE reports no errors after I do a full unload/reload of the database . At some point during daily usage the same problem apparently creeps up.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
