R:azzak,

I know that nothing beat the experience of attending the conference in
person, but in today's economic environment, some of us cannot make it.

Javier,

Haven't you heard that the recession was over a year ago?

Having said that ...

I hear you loud and clear! I am not surprised by your economic reason
of not attending the Annual R:BASE Conference. I have heard the same
from BIG corporations, as well. But, as you know, we enjoy and will
continue to put on a show even if only one die-hard R:BASE user or
developer shows up. That is just me, and my way of running R:BASE,
and R:BASE Technologies, Inc.

With today's economic environment, have you seen a change in the way
we have delivered the products? We continue to thrive on what we do
best, just like we have been doing for the past 12+ years.

Is there a chance that a live feed (Webex or something similar) of
the conference is made available (for a reasonable fee, of course),
so those of us unable to attend the conference, can at least remotely
follow it? Many national conferences have begun to do this and
surprisingly, it has not affected the live attendance and the fees
from remote attendants have actually improved their profitability.

We at R:BASE Technologies, Inc. like the feedback provided by a
live audience, and have not looked into the option of a live feed
or streaming video.

We enjoy the personal interaction with R:BASE Community and always
appreciate the opportunity to work with our users and developers.

In addition, Project Bundle-Up benefits from the attendees.

Again, even though those of us remote followers would not benefit
from the (very valuable) after hours discussions, we would at least
partially follow the new, exciting developments during the regular
presentations..

As always, a "Conference Package" will be available after the
event, with everything documented and provided at the conference.

Of course, we will miss your presence and hope to see you at a
future R:BASE event.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
