Dick,
That is what the others have been telling you. You have to set permissions on the registry per the instructions before RBase can write the lic/activation stuff. Really you do have to do it first.

First off... I admit I know NOTHING about the registry, what all it does or how it works. What is interesting is that if you regedit on my current machine, and go to the software keys for RBase, the license key and activation key are listed there.

If you do the same on our new computers, nothing is there. The only thing showing is a (default) setting.

That does not seem right to me. We have been talking about permissions, but if the data is not in the registry,
all the permissions in the world won't work.

Think I shall go home and taste test the Zinfandel !
