I wanted to thank RBTI and Razzak for training in San Diego. Learning all
the new features of 9.1 will blow your socks off.
It was good to see the other developers that you read about on the list
like Steve and Jan.
Now getting to work playing with all the new goodies!
Where else do you get training from a CEO of a corporation? That is proof
of his dedication and knowledge of the R:Base!

It was a great class - 12 attendee's and good to see old friends and
meet some of the people from the list that I hadn't met (Bruce and Dan).
If you can pick up one or two features you didn't know about or one of
those "undocumented" features, it is worth the price of admission.
Thanks again to Razzak and RBTI.

I agree. Great class both of information and people. Excellent information.
Just one of the shortcuts (new and un-documented) will save me hours of
work. I think that a more official recap of the class is forth-coming .
Thanks to Razzak and RBTI.

It WAS great, and I'm heading straight into the task of converting my
4.5++ app into 9.1. I've decided to do all the forms and reports from
scratch, and can easily convert the rest of the database by going through
7.5 first. My quandry is that I have to continue running my practice with
4.5 until I have the vital forms and reports (probably only 8 or 10 forms
and 5 or 6 reports) that I cannot function without. So if I develop those
in 9.1, by the time I'm finished, the patient data will be old (at least
a couple of weeks... I'm a whiz kid with DOS forms and reports, an
ignoramus with windows forms an reports). So my question is:
what's the easiest way to update the patient (and employee) data from 4.5
to 9.1 without destroying my new 9.1 forms and reports? can I attach a
4.5 database with 9.1? thanks to all.

Yes, spending a wonderful weekend in San Diego with one dozen R:BASE
users and developers from Brazil, California, Oregon, and Arizona
was truly a pleasure, covering 66 sample applications along with an
"SAT Bonus" and in-class practice session.
I have always enjoyed demonstrating the latest developments, sharing
the knowledge, applications, and un-documented features of R:BASE.
This was also an opportunity to welcome new members to R:BASE world!
I also enjoyed visiting our Corporate Customers in San Diego, who are
using R:BASE as a mission critical manufacturing and distribution
application that is seamlessly integrated with MS SQL Server.
I am so glad you all enjoyed the class and hope that you can take
full advantage of your hands-on experience, learning the power
of R:BASE eXtreme 9.1!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
