Jim,

Since last fall and a change to WIN 7/64 workstations, I had been
experiencing similar problems and gained some improvement from moving my
databases to a new server. Very recently, I had a gotcha with the TIME SEQ
which somehow changed itself from HHMMSS to HHMM and wreaked havoc with one
of my forms. I use V8 compiled.

Good luck!

Claudine

Subject: [RBASE-L] - violations

We use 7.6 and we run 15 licenses.

I continue to get, periodically, I/O problems and sometimes ACCESS
violations.

I have done the following:

1) I do an unload reload weekly and get no errors.

2) I have looked for any STRAY RBENGINE.CFG files and find none.

3) All computers are on the same latest update of the 7.6.

I did find an old RSTYLE.CFG file.

I also found an old RBENGINE.DLL file.

Both of these are on the C drive.

Could these files cause the errors I keep getting?

If there are any other items I should look for please let me know.
