Many of you may remember that my x distributor was trying to write
my app in SQL Exp and Dot Net Framework. They started in Mar 2007

As you can see by my other thread, if I can "fix" my other issue
(that only involves a small % of our users) I have a great opportunity
to leave the Dot Net program in the dust.

The x distributor says he spent 2 million building this dream program
... LOL .. I could have sold him my code for 1.5 mill Also, he asked
for my source code to so he could have another programmer update the
look and feel in Jan 2007, then a month later he starts pre selling
he new program... what a cheese ball.

Marc,

I am not surprised.

Do you know how many times corporations, agencies, and institutions
have brought in so-called MS SQL and ORACLE consultants, wasting
hundreds and thousands of dollars, just to replicate the R:BASE
functionality? Not to mention the time to replicate (in years) and
estimated cost. After wasting time and money, guess what happened?
I am sure you can figure it out.

Do you know how often we deal with such scenarios and how we have
been helping R:BASE clients who have asked for our help?

The evolution and making of R:BASE Turbo V-8, and now R:BASE eXtreme
9.1 (64), is the result of such demand and cooperation between R:BASE
Technologies and its big customers.

Do you know how many individuals and developers have full-time jobs,
as employees, developers, contractors and subcontractors, and make a
good living, because of R:BASE?

Keep doing what you are doing and "do what you know best". Don't let
any distributor with a big name distract you.

In-depth knowledge, staying CURRENT, taking advantage of features
and enhancements, and ultimately providing a better and robust solution
to accomplish anything your customers can imagine, is the best kept
secret of R:BASE!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
