I used before Nokia and now for more than 3 years iPhone 3 (second iPhone
edition) and I am never thinking about an other phone. I am waiting for iPhone
5 end of this year and so I am up to date.

Here in Holland Blackbery Bold ws sold most in 2010 (even more than iPhone).
Only with the free messaging feature as selling point!

I tried also to have R:BASE working on iPhone / iPad:
http://www.cellica.com/cellicadatabaseiPhone.html

I still believe that a phone is too small to use a database. Only I would
suggest an app to enter hours for project/invoicing as part of a R:BASE
solution or use the camera of an telephone to save in R:BASE.

For general use I would suggest go for a tablet iPad, HP it seems a great
tablet or Samsung and use R:Base in a terminal mode.

Is there experience worldwide to work in terminal mode with a tablet on a
legancy system ?

Regards, Marco

Subject: [RBASE-L] - off topic; cell phones

I'm in the market for a new cell phone. am using a 3g iphone and am ready.
I'm thinking i'd like one that someday might run an rbase app. should i go for
a ms os phone, or what i was steering toward, an android os type phone. i
think someday cell phones may rule the earth. in fact i'd go for an eyepad
like unit if it also was a phone.
