A client of mine is ready to upgrade now to 9.1 but asked me whether he
should wait until 9.5. Can someone at RBTI tell me when 9.5 is expected
to ship (non-beta) and whether it will be an upgrade purchase from 9.1?
Thanks!!

The official release of R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 will be before the second
quarter of 2012. Please stay tuned ...

FWIW, R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 has been in production for all of my VIP Corporate
and Government customers since October 2011.

In addition, all of my R:BASE for DOS to R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64) conversion
projects have taken full advantage of the new built-in conversion utilities.

Converting R:BASE for DOS Forms, Labels, and Reports to R:BASE eXtreme 9.5
Forms, Labels, and Reports, all at once, is a breeze!

Converting legacy R:BASE for DOS/Windows Applications (.APP) files to a
totally automated menu-driven "Menu Bar" or "Group Bar" application is way
coooooool! All "$COMMAND" blocks are dynamically converted to "Custom Form
Actions".

Take a look: (eXclusively 9.5)

R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 will be offered as "Step-Up" for all 9.1 (32/64) users.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.

P.S.
R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (labeled as the Developers' Dream) will generate
more opportunities for R:BASE users and developers to smoothly covert
legacy databases and applications to the new version!
