Thanks, you and your team never cease to amaze us all! Could be
useful for reports as well. Could the "favorites" be set up in the
"default form settings section" where the "favorites" in the form
designer would reflect the default settings, but the "favorites"
could also be modified and saved with the form? Probably asking for
too much on this one, but I continue to dR:eam!

The new features look quite nice! I could use the new calendar date
picker feature now. However, regarding the Alternative Toolbar
Layout feature, while the consolidated display is a significant
enhancement, would it possible for the user to create his/her own
toolbar and place whatever controls one likes onto the toolbar? I,
and I suspect like others, probably only use a few controls on each
toolbar and being able to consolidate them into what would
essentially be a "favorites" tool bar would be so handy. I am not
sure whether it would be better to have several "Favorites" tool
bars, or just one "Favorites", either of which could be
customizeable with any control from, by way of example, from any of
the DBcontrols, VarControls, Standard Controls, Additional
Controls, etc. Something similar to Firefox's customizeable tool
bar process. While the consolidated toolbar takes up less space
(which will be a great help in increasing the on-screen
real-estate), it appears that one will have to click through it to
get to what one needs. So the "favorites" may be a convenience and
a time saver as well as saving space.
Just dR:eaming!

Steve,
What a wonderful idea!
We at R:BASE Technologies take great pride in what we do, how we do
it, and the way we have developed the R:BASE product since 1998.
R:BASE today is the result of listening to our loyal customers who
care and have every intention of being a part of our success.
While in form designer, having the option to define and customize
"Favorites" would be a great addition for "Developers' Dream",
R:BASE eXtreme 9.5.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
