I've been working with a client for over 20 years and I need an
RBase proficient developer to take over for me.
The client is in the Los Angeles area. You would maintain a legacy
application (v2) and add new features when requested.
If you're not comfortable with v2, the customer might be amenable to
upgrading. Let's talk about it. Email me. We'll exchange phone
numbers and I'll put you in touch with the customer.
You would need to provide telephone support for special
requests. (for example, which customers spent more than $15,000 in
August and July. In that case, you would tell the customer what
SELECT command to type in). Or you might develop a more flexible
menu driven system. It's whatever you and the client agree to.
Experience with bar codes a plus but if you don't have it, you'll
have to learn.
Even if you're not around Los Angeles but are interested, contact
me. We might be able to work with some remote control application
but face-to-face contact is preferred.
