I have not seen this, but I have seen the date format changing on occasion. We use a date format of dd mmm yyyy and sequence ddmmyy in all of our databases. Occasionally, when running eeps or connecting to another database (all with the same date settings) the date format and sequence revert to the R:Base default.
I have not had a chance to research this issue sufficiently to provide any further guidance.
