Please review the following information regarding R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 for Windows.

Like its predecessor, R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 will be available as two software versions,
R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32) and R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64).

R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32) is the appropriate product upgrade for users whose database size is not reaching the 2GB limit. This version uses the .RB1-.RB4 file extensions.

R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64) is the appropriate product upgrade for R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (64) or R:BASE Turbo V-8 users. The database files use the .RX1-.RX4 file extensions. R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (64) is also the appropriate product to allow seamless connections
to SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and other large database products.

Unless a user/developer does not have the requirement to support databases over 2GB in size, R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32) will continue to serve data management requirements. However, since there are many other differences between the two versions, please review the R:BASE eXtreme product comparison, which nows lists 9.5 specific details
as well.

The R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 Private Beta has been available since January 3, 2012. All registered users of R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32/64), who have completed beta request form,
qualify to use the beta product.
