Tom,

Thanks, but we do keep our versions in sync, even if we don’t always keep
up-to-date.

I use compiled apps and have found it is crucial that the compiled app version
is exactly the same as the version you are designing in. Many times I have
neglected this and had my apps do strange things.

No. This is a very generic compiled EXE to which I pass the form name to run
and it goes.
Not forms are included in the exe itself.
All forms run under the same exe.
That is what is so strange.

Are you including the form in the compiled app? If so, try removing it and
recompile it.

R:BASE eXtreme 9.1 (32), U.S. Version, Build: 9.1.5.20317
This happens on all machines. Very strange, I’m sure I’m just missing
something.

Hmmm. I have a scrolling text in my status bar that is working compiled.
What version are you using?

I have a form in which the staus bar displays changing text correctly but not
if running compiled.
Other forms do not have this problem.
Any blues clues?
