Mark The errors you received would have been normal if you were adding or deleting rows from the database. What I have done in the past after coping over the #1 file was to reload the database then pack the new reloaded database then autochk it. Hopefully by the time you ran autochk there shouldn't be any errors.

I did try to replace the #1 file and sync the files but I got all kinds of table errors that the number of rows were not the same and that pointers were off. Rbase support did suggest the RSCOPE which I am going to look into purchasing. Thanks for the suggestions. I found that I could connect using RScope but not the full version of RBase. In my case I removed the owner password using RScope, and then was able to connect and repair database with full version. Check your #1 file and see if it is the same size as a backup copy. Copy the backup #1 file to the local and then do the rbsync and then try connecting. Mark, Check the user rights for that particular folder on the network. Are you able to CONNect the database when copying and then using the same database on a local drive? Hope that provides you with some blue's clues ... Very Best R:egards, Razzak. www.rbase.com www.facebook.com/rbase
