Unsure from your post which way you're going, but I usually first
create a new form the way you want it (either based on a table or
an external one, whichever you want).  In another RBase session,
bring your original form up, press Ctrl-A to copy all, then paste into
the new form.   Then what you need to do is copy and paste form
variables (which you can now do from the variable list), and bring
over any eeps you have defined.
