I have an application where I will need to read RFID tags via external USB

RFID tags directly from R:Base; is there a command(S) or procedure(s) to
access USB or Blue tooth devices directly from R:Base? Has anyone done work
in this area?
Javier,
Using the USB or Blue Tooth via MS Windows OS to Read/Write into R:BASE
database is as easy as 1-2-3. However, using Non-MS OS, such Android Phone
or Android Tablet PCs, you will either have to use R:Web Application with
Custom Plugin or work directly on Web Application on MS Windows Web Server
running Apache/PHP/Java/JavaScript regardless of devices running Windows
OS or Android.
Designing & Deploying R:Web Applications will allow you to take advantage
of multi-platforms running various devices such as iPads, Tablet PCs, etc.
If you wish, you may contact R:BASE Technologies Custom Application and
Development Services Team for such services at mailto:[email protected]
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
