A new record is being inserted from an ODBC data source via Oterro.

I have an After Insert trigger on the table that runs a stored procedure.
I need to process data from the record just inserted. I do a :
Select colname into varname from tablename Where Count = INSERT
This does not work. Evidently, Rbase does not know the "user" of the Oterro
insert.
Select ... from tablename Where Count = LAST
does work, but this is a multi user environment. So this statement will not
work in production mode as I will get crossed data during concurrent inserts
from different users.
This seems like it should be a standard and simple operation, but I am not
an expert on Oterro / stored procedures.
Bob,
The version of Oterro you are using was last supported in February 19, 2010.
Since then, new versions and updates have been released with bug-fixes and
enhancements, including Oterro 9.0, Oterro 9.1, and now the latest and
greatest Oterro 9.5.

As you know, keeping everything up-to-date gives you the edge to run your
mission critical business applications running R:BASE/Oterro, as well as
having access to all the services and support that RBTI provides for
production releases.
Try the latest version and update of Oterro 9.5. If you are still
encountering the same issue or oddity, you may submit a sample to
[email protected] and let the eXpanded R:Dream Team take care of such
issues in the current versions of R:BASE eXtreme, including Oterro 9.5
(32/64).
As a long time R:BASE user, you realize that when a product has reached its
End Of Life and End Of Support status, it has metaphorically "passed on".
All our resources are dedicated to providing the best current versions
of all our products and we will continue to provide the highest level of
support that we have demonstrated time and again for the past 15 years.
Having said all that, we remain very proud of those prior versions,
including R:BASE V-8, and Oterro 8.0, but they are and will remain
a part of the history of the continuous development cycle of R:BASE
products.
We welcome you to move forward with the current product line and the
excellent support R:BASE Technologies and its eXpanded R:Dream Team
makes available to you for them.
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
