If you know the version you are converting from that's a good start. Next, look
in RBase help under Reference Index. Click on Database conversion. That will
give you direction on how to proceed.

As Razzak says, it pays to stay current so you should look into upgrading to
9.5 as end of life is approaching for 9.1.

Good luck,

Subject: [RBASE-L] - How to convert Stone Age RBF-files?

Hi,

A Young American archaeologist has mailed me since he has noticed in Facebook
that I'm an R:BASE user. As a medievalist I would be glad to help him convert
an R:BASE database from the nineties, i.e. in the format of three rbf-files,
into my 9.1. format, so I can export the data for him.
I've created a certain map inside my RBTI map, but 9.1 does not identify the
three rbf-files as a database. Is there a converter in my 9.1 Extreme?
Or should I look in my former PC for an older version? I've seen something
about a converter ...
