I agree: that solves the visual display of '-0-'.

The additional requirement is to release the vertical space, so as to not
leave wide gaps between visible lines.

Thanks much.

I normally in the before report opening eep I normally use SET NULL ' ' and
then on report close SET NULL -0-

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Report Region Refuses to Disappear

RBASE 9.5(64) Latest

Problem:
Break Header / Region with NULL DBLabel value displays '-0-' and consumes
vertical space in report.
Want these NULL regions to disappear/collapse.

Background:
A Break Header contains Region with Component ID: [ ppRegionLevel4 ].
The Region contains DBLabel control: [ glCodeNUM4 ], which displays correct
data values.
The goal is to have the Region and Break Header disappear/collapse whenever
[ glCodeNUM4 ] is NULL.
To this end, the [ Before Generate Custom EEP ] for the Break Header is
coded:

IF vglCodeNUM4 IS NULL THEN
    PROPERTY ppRegionLevel4 VISIBLE FALSE
ELSE
    PROPERTY ppRegionLevel4 VISIBLE TRUE
ENDIF
RETURN

Report Variable [ vglCodeNUM4 ] is defined as:

  2 : TEXT : H4 : vglCodeNUM4 = (glCodeNUM4)

What am I missing here?

'Preciate your assistance.

Bruce
