Bill, I knew that Emmitt had retired and was enjoying retirement but I did not know he had passed away. Last Wednesday my cell phone was acting up and took it to the T-Mobile store where they loaded a newer version of Android which erased all the information. T-Mobile requires a Google account for all backups, so I had opened an account just for that a long time ago. As I was reconfiguring the newly updated phone and reloading data from the Google backup, pictures taken by Emmitt (birds and butterflies) started popping up and I remember that he had sent me an invitation (when I first opened the account) to join his Google “circle of friends” or something along those lines. Since I do not really use that Google application, he was the only person in my circle of friends and I never gave it much thought, and I had not seen those pictures in a long time. This is a pretty eerie coincidence. After reading you post I went back and looked at the pictures and the most recent was from August of 2013. (He, and Emmitt Dove were often volunteer photogs. Emmitt also passed away within the past year.) Paul and his son Brock rode motorcycles from Detroit to Pittsburgh one year for the conference. I have sent you some photos privately, harvested from Facebook. Bill On Fri, Jul 4, 2014 at 5:03 PM, Castanaro <[email protected]> wrote: Is there a picture of him from the conferences? Paul was at many R:BASE Conferences and SAT training sessions over the years, and his son Brock came with him to several. Paul was always active, fun, ready with a funny (and sometimes tasteless!) joke, generous, and full of good ideas. Paul's wife Karen says there will be visitation for Paul in Walled Lake, Michigan, at Lynch Family Funeral Home http://lynchfamilyfuneraldirectors.com/locations on Sunday, July 6, from 4:00pm through 9:00pm and again on Monday, July 7, from 4:00pm through 9:00pm. The funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 8 at 7:00pm, at the Orchard Lake Community Church, Presbyterian, which is located at:5171 Commerce Rd, Orchard Lake Village, MI 48324. If there are any changes in plans, the funeral home web site will be updated. Bill (sent from Android mobile)
