What a coincidence. I just downloaded the 'Tip of the Day' compilation for 2014 and checked for a solution to my problem. Sure enough I found it. I will use the GETPROPERTY command. So unless others have better ideas regarding creating report indexes, I will pursue this option.
Thanks, Bill From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [RBASE-L] - Report Index Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2014 09:32:00 -0500 I'm creating a genealogy database and want to print an index at the end of the report. I'm using the report generator in RBase. My intention is to insert each persons unique identification number to a table as each person is printed using an 'after generate custom EEP'. I would then print the index using that table. What I don't have is the page number. I've looked for a system or report variable that I can use to tell me which page I'm on but can't find one. Is there such a thing as page variable that I can use? Help is appreciated with this or are there better solutions to this problem? Thanks, Bill
