Doug,
You can get R:BASE to launch in the desired display by editing the Startup
Options
and by setting the R:BASE window size.
01. Select "Settings" > "Startup Options..." from the main Menu Bar.
02. Add checks for Database Explorer, R> Prompt, and the Editor
03. Remove the check for Maximize Main Window
04. Press OK
05. Then, restart R:BASE for the modules to display when launched.
06. Use the "Restore Down" button (between Minimize and Close) for the
Database
Explorer, R> Prompt, and Editor windows so you can resize and position
the
separate windows as desired.
07. Then use the "Restore Down" button for R:BASE itself.
08. Now resize the R:BASE program window to its largest size without
maximizing.
09. Restart R:BASE to see if everything is positioned as desired.

Sometimes it's helpful to have the Editor, Explorer or R> prompt visible
while working on forms
or reports and it's a minor annoyance to have to resize them each time
they're opened.
