I have a form that's used for adding new records to a table. One of the fields is the client's city, so I sent it up as a DB edit field and it defaults to "Baltimore". Works fine, always did. When I "enter using formname", Baltimore is already in that field.
Now I added some more questions to this form, one of them being client's significant-other city. I copied the client's city field and just changed the name of the database field. But even though it's set up to default to "Baltimore" - it doesn't. It is just blank when the form first appears on the screen, and also when the cursor hits that field. I can't imagine what the problem is. Any ideas?Thanks,Patti
