When I get that type of results, most of the time it is a corrupted index.
I have a utility in the Database Maintenance Menu that rebuilds the Indices;
you can run it in a live environment.

DIALOG 'Proceed with Packing Indices?' vYesNo vEndKey YES +
CAPTION 'System Message...' ICON APP +
OPTION Themename &vUser_theme
IF vEndKey = '[Esc]' OR vYesNo = 'No' THEN
   GOTO Done
ENDIF
PAUSE 3 USING '>>> INDEX PACKING IN PROGRESS - DO NOT INTERRUPT <<<'
PACK INDEX
CLS
PAUSE 1 USING 'Process Completed - Press any key to Continue'
LABEL Done
CLEAR VAR vEndKey, vYesNo
RETURN

...or you can just run the command:
PACK INDEX
>From the R: prompt. Give it a try and hopefully it will solve your problem.
As always, be sure to back up you database before packing the indices.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: form will not delete

Bill,

I tried that code and RBASE says the form does not exist.
This is not surprising since I tried deleting it, RBASE acted like it
deleted the form, but it is still there.
I will try a rebuild tonight to see if that cares for the problem.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Somehow a form got corrupted so that I cannot delete it.
I tried bringing the same form into the DB with a backup copy but it shows
two forms with the same name.
Obviously the form has been corrupted.
How can I get rid of the corrupted form?
Will a rebuild do that?
